M240B meaning

A 7.62x51mm light machine gun used by the U.S. military. It looks very similar to the M49, but is an actual machine gun, as opposed to an automatic rifle, also, it is significantly heavier than the M249 (especially if you're the one carrying it). Pronounced "Em two-forty bravo". Nicknamed "The Pig" or "Two-forty". Commonly carried into battle or mounted on a Humvee. The M240B is a devastating weapon.
